Passarei a publicar no blogue algumas fotografias de navios no Porto do Funchal. Começo hoje com o navio misto S.S. ALCA.

AÇORES - AZORES - AZOREN

Liebe Freunde und Kunden,

schon vor unserer Reise habe ich mir eine CM-KR Athena gekauft und zur Azores umbemalt.

Nun hat CM das Modell in - wie ich finde - leicht verbesserter Version als Azores herausgebracht.

Nachdem wir heute unsere neuen Modelle "Vera Cruz" und "Alta"

ausgeliefert haben und mich schon einige Kunden gefragt haben, ob ich dieses Modell für sie umarbeiten kann, möchte ich hier folgendes anbieten.

Wir können die Modelle wie von CM geliefert fertig bemalen (Die Farben am beigefügten Muster sind noch nicht ganz richtig - die obersten Decks sind hellbraun, nicht länger grün) Das wäre einfach eine vollständige Bemalung auf der Basis des CM-KR Modelles.

CM verkauft keine Rohlinge, daher fallen 55,00 Euro für den Erwerb des Modelles bei Herrm Wiedling an (falls Sie mir Ihr Modell nicht einfach schicken wollen - in diesem Fall bitte für perfekte Verpackung sorgen).

Dafür würden wir pauschal 25,00 Euro zzgl Porto für die Rücksendung verlangen.

Alternativ kann ich die Modelle abbeizen, die Farbkanten entfernen und komplett neu spritzen und bemalen.

Die Kosten hierfür würden würden 55,00 Euro betragen - aber ich finde, daß dies nicht unbedingt nötig ist.

Für den Fall, daß Sie Interesse haben, bitte so schnell wie möglich bei mir melden - die Güsse werden später nicht besser sein.

Dear Friends and Customers

already before we have started our cruise on the MV "Azores" I had bougth a CM-KR "Athena" and made a complete overhaul, including stripping of the color and giving the hull a sharper shape.

Now CM has produced that model in - as it looks to me - an improved version as "Azores".

As today we have delivered our new models "Vera Cruz" and "Alta" to our dealors and some customers have already asked me, if I could fully paint this model for them, I would like ot offer this to you:

We could

a) give the CM-KR models as delivered a full deckpainting (the colours on my own model attached are not yet completely right - the upper decks are light brown now and the liveboats are yellow). The original paintwork from CM would remain untouched. The cost of the purchase of the model is 55,00 Euro (f. e. via Mr. Wiedling, as CM does not sell unpainted castings) and I would ask for 25,00 Euro for the rest of the painting, that needs to be done. Of course You are as well invited to send me a model You have already purchesed. In this case please make sure, that you have a perfect packing.

Alternativly I could offer

b) to stripe off all original CM color, remove the colorframes, that are build in this model Then I would spray the model white and do a full repaint.

For that I would charge 55,00 Euro in addition to the cost of the model.

In both cases the shipment will come in addition, althought I guess, the model could then be delivered via Mr. Wiedling.

In case you are interested in one of the two offers, please send us a mail as soon as possible - the later castings will not be as good as the first ones.
