TUG SS POOLZEE

Latest oilpainting: ss POOLZEE from L SMIT & Co.

She was build in 1900 at the yard of L Smit & Son in Kinderdijk. These days this yard now is called IHC Kinderdijk.
This tug used a triple expansion 3 cil steamengine to get 1000 i.p.k. Between 1914 and 1918 she was used in the Royal Dutch Navy, after that returned and operational for Smit till 1932.
