The
DOCK EXPRESS 10 in Heusden was built at the yard of Verolme and was delivered
to Express Dock in 1979. The ship is a dock-ship and semi-submersible.
The
new company was named Dockwise in September 1993, formed by the merger of two
complementary businesses, Wijsmuller Transport (a division of Heerema) and Dock
Express Shipping (a division of Royal Vopak), the world's largest seagoing
heavy transport company
The
ship sailed under the name of Dock Express 10. From 2009 she sailed under the
name SKY OCEANUS under the flag of Panama and is still operational in the
Singapore area.
